I don’t like our chances at all. Best I can hope for is them keeping it close and seeing some Trey, Sermon, Lenoir, Ambry, Wilson, Banks and Moore on the field.

The Rams will be pissed. They haven’t beaten us in a few years. This will be ugly. This is a bad time to start Lance against that defense that will have Von Miller too. Let Jimmy play and get killed in a hopeless situation. Maybe throw Lance out there for 5 or 6 snaps or some gadget plays and see what sticks. The only reason to play Lance is in the off chance he gives the team a spark and they make a run for the playoffs but with this team with this coach there’s no hope.

I just started a new thread on Shanahan, posted it and then got the msg it was under moderation – as in needed to be approved. WTF is that about?

The Rams are strong this year, while we can’t find our ass with both hands and a map. All I hope for is to not be totally embarrassed.

I kind of have a suspicion they will play this close similar to when we played the Cards the first time. Just checked this is a home game so they’ll get blown out 😂

LOL…yeah I have a feeling it’s going to be bad too.

Do you guys get the feeling sometimes that the fam based is a bit too “Faithful”?
Watching the after game show with fans in the background. Everyone is dressed in all the gear and happy.
Is it just because they’re on TV or is the greatest majority of our fan base clueless?

I think 49ers fans have been clueless for a while. Most of them believe blind loyalty is being a good fan, never question the coaches or front office because they are professionals and know more than we do, blah blah blah. I’ve seen it since the Nolan days.

If Kyle and John were in New York or Chicago they would have been fired already. It is true the average west coast fan isn’t as passionate or knowledgeable.

I’m a Niners and warriors fan. I won’t even think about going to a game or spending money unless the team is a contender. I’ll usually watch on tv unless I feel it’s hopeless then I won’t even watch.

Bloody Sunday in the NFL today. Lots of injuries around the league. T.J. Watt, Baker Mayfield both with leg injuries. Troy Hill stretchered off with a bad looking neck injury. Even a ref got ran over in the Colts game. Really hoping that doesn’t portend anything for us.

Jalen Hurd was released. This is how smart many Niner fans are: they still think the Seahawks are going to sign him and he’s doing to dominate the league.

I expect if he’s healthy enough he’ll get some attention prior to training camps starting but I have a feeling his injuries are bad enough that he’ll never be able to play football at NFL level again.

If he’s healthy enough he will get a chance somewhere.

How badly will Jed York’s dog and pony show have their ass handed to them tonight?

The Bloody Sunday list is growing. Chase Jones out for the year, torn ACL. Man, this was a rough week for the league.
