    49ers are checking out ex-Raider DE Arden Key this week. He’s built tall and lanky like Aldon Smith. He was a starter for the Raiders last season, but I don’t think he’d fit that role with us; seems more like a depth or situation/rotation player to me. But who knows, he’s still young. We’ll see, assuming he even gets hired.

    Hope they sign him. Guy is a supremely talented player. Had some substance abuse problems and checked himself into rehab. Unsure if he’s kicked that habit completely to the curb or not. If he’s got his head on straight they should sign him.

    I really like the Hurst signing. Hopefully Kocurek can get Key going.
